九爱加拿大网报道：温哥华警方今天早上表示由于严重的车祸，今早Granville St位于41街和49街之间的路段双向关闭。

警方当时呼吁民众绕行，比如使用Oak St，但没有透露封路需要多长时间。

当时警方没有讲述车祸的具体情况，不过有急救人员到场。

有现场图像显示，一辆车的驾驶员侧部分被蓝色防水布覆盖，道路上有大量碎片。
目前，有消息表明车祸涉及四辆汽车。一辆向北行驶的深色丰田卡罗拉的司机越过中心线，据称该车当时超速。警方表示司机从侧面滑过一辆的士，撞到了一辆保时捷，然后从一辆卡车顶部飞过，之后掉落在一辆现代Elantra 车顶上，最后掉落在人行道上。
卡罗拉的司机当场死亡。
另外两名司机受伤被送往医院。出租车上没有人受伤，包括司机或顾客。
警方呼吁目击者或者有现场视频的司机致电 604-717-3012联系警方。
温哥华警方在下午1点的时候表示封路路段已经重开。
