凭我的理解,所有话的意思就是,房东可以扣除部分费用,但是剩余的deposit必须归还! 是不是这个意思?! Hi [1] A landlord would be required to give 24hrs written notice of entry. [2] A tenant must give 1 months notice if they intend to end the tenancy. If you are in a lease, a tenant must have the landlord's written agreement to end a fixed-term tenancy agreement early. A tenant who ends a fixed-term tenancy early and without the landlord's agreement can be held accountable for any loss incurred by the landlord such as rent or advertising costs to re-rent the unit. The landlord is obliged to limit any potential loss. (needs to rent out the unit soon as possible) [3] A landlord does not have an automatic right to the security deposit. Once the tenancy has ended, you will need to give the landlord in writing your forwarding address where you want the security deposit to be forwarded to (keep a copy of the note). The landlord has 15 days to comply with this from when the landlord received your notice, or to make a claim for it through the tenancy branch. If the landlord does not comply with your request, you can make application for dispute resolution with the Residential Tenancy Branch and claim double the amount of the deposit.
