Mid Autumn Festival is on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, the full moon is symbol for family reunion. On this day, all family members should get together, eat moon cakes, enjoy the glorious full moon, and sacrifice the moon and so on. That is why this day is also known as the Festival of Reunion.
There is also an ancient legend about the origin of the festival. That is the story of Chang E flying to the moon. To protect her husband Hou Yi’s immortal drug from robbing by a bad guy, she ate it and then flying to the moon, separating from her husband forever. People wishes people who loves each other should be together, thus we celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival.

你写的好像中秋节就围着桌子人手一个月饼，个人觉得算是每个人会吃的甜点类型！ mid autumn 建议换成 moon festivall. 嫦娥的故事好像不是这个版本吧！ 是她好奇偷吃了后裔的仙丹，自己飘走了~！ 听说好像有国家不准进口中国的月饼，所以好像不是很多外国人喜欢吃那玩意儿！
