看了今年报税的guide，对firsthomebuyer的定义好像不同。以前听说是全球第一次买房，哪怕你卖了都不算first homebuyer 了。 今年的定义是这样的： An individual is considered a first-time home buyer if neither the individual nor the individual’s spouse or common-law partner owned and lived in another home in the year of the home purchase or in any of the four preceding calendar years这就是说只要买房当年 或 过去4年中任何一年不拥有和居住在另一居所，都是first home buyer。 不知道我理解的对不对？

根据CRA的定义，第二种正确。当然最好要联系CRA确认一下。

两种定义都对。以前你听说的那个是购房减免购置税的条件。http://www.fin.gov.on.ca/en/refund/newhome/现在你听说的时报税中的HBP的条件。
