Nope the Buyer Representation Agreement is to protect the buyer's agent. After all no body wants to provide free service, the agent might take you to showings for weeks without getting paid. It is to protect him from you letting him do all the work for free then finds your relative or friend to put down an offer. Out of respect and fairness I suggest you sign it for a reasonable time at least 2 weeks. If you sign it, your agent for sure will put more effort in serving and fighting for you. Nobody's time is free right?
