星岛卑诗省内陆公路发生平安夜严重车祸，一辆巴士在公路失控损毁，目前有数十乘客被送往多家医院救治，内陆卫生局马上启动「橙色代码」进行拯救。
内陆卫生局表示，一辆巴士在平安夜行驶期间，于97C公路奥肯纳根（Okanagan）路段发生严重车祸，暂时未有死亡报告，但内陆卫生局证实有53名患者被送往附近三个城市的医院救治，当局无法提供相关伤者的任何信息。
内陆卫生局在推特上指，他们会尽一切努力，联系受害人家属。
警方正调查意外原因。
卑诗省长尹大卫（David Eby），省公共安全厅长范和富（Mike Farnworth）、卫生厅长狄德安（Adrian Dix），以及交通厅长范廉明（Rob Fleming）周五晚发表联合声明，省府对于意外事件感到震惊及悲伤， 承诺会为受影响人士及家属提供帮助。
