今早，Save Old Growth組織的抗議人士堵住了橫跨北溫和溫哥華的鋼鐵工人紀念大橋。

抗議使得這座大橋的南向交通被中斷一個小時左右。

維多利亞市方面，早晨8:10左右，警方到達Finlayson St 夾 Douglas St的抗議現場維持秩序。

之後，警方逮捕了三名堵路的抗議人士，交通恢復正常。

Save Old Growth組織抗議的目的是反對BC省對古老森林的砍伐。
今年1月，該組織表示一系列示威活動已導致被捕人數增加到46人以上。該組織在2月和3月將暫停抗議活動，那段時間將招募、訓練更多的成員。
如今抗議活動卷土重來。
該組織今天表示：“在我們目前的道路上，我們正在考慮在未來 10 到 20 年內，在BC省，我們的社會、經濟和更多生命的損失。政府幾十年來就知道這一點，並沒有采取任何措施來保護我們的未來”。
目前尚不清楚該組織未來將舉行哪些抗議活動。
