Thanks for the info. Do you have any more details. For example, the voltage/charge curve? And is there any logic in the device, especially is there an FTDI chip in the USB plug?What does the charge curve look like at 100 mA?
We have attempted to use another brand of battery pack and found it didn’t just act like a battery but was turning on and off and doing things that we didn’t anticipate, needless to say it didn’t work. We also didn’t know the voltages of the pack etc. All these things are important to work with our device.
I am sure you are aware that a 6V battery isn’t always or exactly 6V. It is usually around 6V but depends on the current consumption, temperature, and charge level.
