Pipe cutting is the process of cutting any size pipe either perpendicular to its length or at an angle. There is no limitation to diameter or wall thickness.Several methods may be used to achieve this depending on the size and type of the pipe to be cut and involve both internally and externally mounted cutting equipment.
The traditional method of flame cutting heats the pipe and leave an unacceptable heat affected zone.
Our’s range of cold cutting and weld prepping machines can quickly cut and weld prep pipes to a finish suitable for welding.
Weld preps can be formed to any requirements.
Typical operations using a pipe cutter or weld prepper:
1. Cutting new pipe work to length and forming weld preps
2. Straight cuts to destroy old or redundant pipe work
3. Cutting out sections of pipe for inspection purposes
4. Cutting off damaged flanges or hubs
5. Cutting out welded-in valves for repair or replacement
6. Cutting out sections of damaged, corroded or defective pipe work
7. Weld excavations for repair of defective welds
8. Casing cutting and prepping

传统的高温加热切割方法留有承受不了的高热影响区域。而且司采购冷焊接方法，快速做好切割与预焊接。此方法可满足任何要求。（这应该是很行业的东西了，我不太懂）。

1. Cutting new pipe work to length and forming weld preps 将管子切割一定长度，形成weld preps（不知道是不是预焊接）
2. Straight cuts to destroy old or redundant pipe work 切割掉多余或受保部分
3. Cutting out sections of pipe for inspection purposes 检查管子切割截面
4. Cutting off damaged flanges or hubs 将受损的凸缘或hubs 切掉。
5. Cutting out welded-in valves for repair or replacement 切开welded-in valves做修复或者更换。
6. Cutting out sections of damaged, corroded or defective pipe work 切掉受损，受侵蚀有缺陷的。
7. Weld excavations for repair of defective welds。Weld excavations做有缺陷的焊接修复。
8. Casing cutting and prepping 盒子保护切割和repping。
