Canada Moves to Prohibit the Slaughter of Horses for Human ConsumptionNew Democrat Agriculture Critic, Alex Atamanenko (BC southern Interior) tabled a Private Members Bill (C-544) yesterday that would effectively shut down the slaughtering of horses for human consumption in Canada.
