2005年7月6日登陆多伦多.jane/finch点击展开...R u kidding?zt4 suspects sought in Jane-Finch shootingLast Updated: Tuesday, June 19, 2007 | 9:22 AM ET CBC News Toronto police are searching for four suspects after a brazen daylight shooting Monday near a basketball court in the Jane-Finch neighbourhood.At 4:30 p.m., police were called to a townhouse complex on Grandravine Drive near Driftwood Avenue after gunfire struck two men.Police found a 29-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg near the community basketball court at the centre of a townhouse complex. The other man, 36, was found in a nearby hospital where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to the chest. Neither of their injuries was life-threatening.The shooting happened the same day many of the 95 suspects rounded up last week in sweeping pre-dawn raids targeting the Driftwood Crips street gang made appearances in a packed Toronto courtroom.Toronto police's anti-violence unit was credited with helping with the raids and will also be involved in the investigation into the latest shooting."It's very distressing but … as the Toronto police, we are here actively dealing with these situations and I can assure the members of the public that we will bring these individuals to justice," said Toronto police Insp. Gordon Jones.Continue Article He said their high-profile officers in the neighbourhood will be seeking information from locals in hopes of finding the suspects, all young black males in their teens to early 20s.The first suspect is described as black with a light complexion. He is five feet six inches to five feet eight inches tall, weighs around 160 pounds, is in his early 20s and has a beard. He was wearing a black sweater with a hood, police say.The other three are described as black, between the ages of 15 and 20 and wearing black clothing.
