Hi, I am going to buy a new house. However, the mortgage approval can only hold the rate for 90-120 days. I can get a higher rate locked for a year though. Is it possible to apply this higher rate for now, and re-apply lower rate before 3 months of closing date?Is the mortgage approval mandatory to commit or can I get two approval and choose anyone to commit?Thanks.
