由于秋季已到，我家前院的树叶每天都落很多，我不知道怎样才把它处理好，左邻右舍的都很干净，可是我家前院的老是打理不好！很急呢！！是不是需要什么才行啊？求教了！

Leaf Rake What to do

Collect the leaves that fall onto your property and those leaves that fall on the City boulevard and sidewalk.

Fill your yard trimmings cart (the one with the green lid) with your leaves and set it out on your scheduled yard trimmings collection day. Remember, no plastic bags or liners in the cart. For more information go to Using your yard trimmings cart.

Use a "leaf can" (standard store-bought garbage can) or a biodegradable paper bag for your extra leaves (those leaves that don't fit into your yard trimmings cart). Set out your leaf cans and paper bags 1 metre (3 feet) away from your yard trimmings cart on your scheduled collection day. Biodegradable paper bags (or kraft paper bags) are available at most home and garden centres. What NOT to do

DO NOT rake or blow leaves onto the street or into the gutter. Raking or blowing your leaves onto the street is a violation of the Street and Traffic By-law and you (or your landscaper) could be fined. Leaves left in the street may cause flooding by blocking street drains, and may also be a hazard to motorists and cyclists.

DO NOT use plastic bags (of any kind) for your leaves. The City no longer accepts leaves set out in clear colourless plastic bags. During the unlimited leaf collection period (October 1st to January 31st) you may set out your extra leaves in leaf cans or in biodegradable (kraft) paper bags only.
