Seeking a self motivated individual, excited to work with a growing team. The Home Styling Assistant will provide general support services to the lead stylists. This is a physically demanding job that requires careful handling of home furnishings.
This is a part-time/on-call contract position with varying hours. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule with the ability to accommodate a variety of shifts with minimal notice.
REQUIREMENTS
Art or interior design education preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Take direction well, work well independently with little supervision
Collaborative and a teamplayer
Highly organized and detail oriented
Professional, friendly and courteous in all interactions
Able to lift and mobilize small to medium items, up to 25 lbs.
Have a valid drivers license in good standing and able to drive within the GTA
Comfortable and able to drive a larger vehicle like an SUV or MiniVan if required
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings and weekends.
Willing to work long hours
Have a clean criminal record
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide assistance to stylists on staging jobs, including loading and unloading, cleaning, packing, ironing, and other tasks as assigned
Assist with decluttering, organizing, moving and rearranging furniture as needed
Assist with sorting and organizing at the warehouse
Cleaning as needed
Furniture assembly and repair as needed
Other duties as assigned

Rate: $16-19 per hour
