Responsibilities
· Set up and run our automated machines
· Load and replace materials
· Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, includingreplacement of wear-components
· Ensure quality of masks being produced is within JY Carespecifications
· Troubleshoot machine and material issues and take correctiveand preventative actions
· Perform incoming inspection of all materials
· Perform quality inspection according to stringent medicaldevice standards
· Contribute to enhancing our equipment and processes
· Inventory management of materials and machine replacementparts
· Contribute to enhancing our equipment and processes
· Any other tasks requested by the supervisor within thetechnician role
Qualifications
·Collegeor University program in electro-mechanical and/or automation field
·Experience operating automated machines, working on machines andtroubleshooting mechanical/ electrical/ technical issues
·Troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical and configuration issues andrepair / correct the issues with minimal supervision
·Willing to learn new skills
·Proficiency with hand-tools
·Experience with ultrasonic welding an asset
·Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
·Proficient with office applications
·Drivers’ license with access to a vehicle preferred
