前段时间联系上了一家美国零售市场100强公司在香港的办事处。 对方是个香港人,以下是部分邮件沟通原文:
1. Bono,

&&&(我们现在的客户) is a brand. Do you/factory have experience in working with U.S. retailer, e.g. Walmart, Target, Sears etc?

As per your quotation,

a)  below is your payment term.

Payment term: T/T 30% deposit and
balance before delivery

*** (香港人代表的美国零售集团, 下同)is no deposit and our payment term is T/T 45 days after ETD, please confirm your company can accept it.   

b) your quantity is CY quote. As I advised, our shipment mainly is CFS, please advise the price whether the same, thanks.

As you could find in our company profile, we started overseas business 1 year ago, mainly brand clients by now. But we are negotiating an cooperation with &&& sports (&&& group)(另外一家加拿大零售集团).

Regarding payment term, OA 45 days is a big ask for us, especially for the 1st cooperation, and we never operate it. Could you please accept L/C at sight instead?

Regarding CFS shipment, could you please let us know how many destinations may occur? considering the 1st cooperation, we have quoted our marginal price. I am afraid that price will be adjust a little. Kindly note it.

sorry for the late reply.

Please don't worry about the experience. The whole operation will be under control.

To tell the truth, we could understand your concern on payment term. could you kindly help us make it clear,
1. if a written contract will occur.
2. if it is "*** Limited" or other title who will sign the contract?
3. when/where to inspect and what's the standard.
4. if an annual purchasing quantity could be estimated.

As you know, sinosure service will occur on us if your payment term is accepted. of course, it will be highly appreciated if L/C 45 or even 60 days could be OK.

regarding CY term, there will be a small increase on our price later. Kindly note it.

当然了,她们的流程都是很严格的,你必须按照她们的要求才可以做。

这些零售商都有很多很复杂的流程,要做的话需要花费很多精力,如果有做过的话对于他们的流程都会有经验,做起来都会稍微顺利一点,而且他们的付款条件都是要赊账的,还有很多很多的规定都要遵守,能按照他们的要求做才能继续谈,做不了的话就不要谈了

如果你们公司资金上没问题,OA45天问题也不大。像这样的大型零售商一般供应商合规性规定,需要准备一些文件,流程比较多。但是做进去了,后面就很好办了。

楼主被绕进去了啊  不要跟着他的思路走啊  一开始就不要说自己1年的出口经验。
信用证不太适合这种客人,可以降低定金比例,如果觉得客户有价值的话。
守住底线。
