加拿大进出口外贸晒一下我老板的英文邮件,想客户提高预付款

昨天在出口交流论坛发过一贴,简单就是疫情爆发,老板要求客户提高预付款比例,原来的付款方式是15预付/20发货前/65见提单。

邮件我是憋了一天也没憋出来,感觉怎么说都是违反了之前的约定嘛。

我老板昨天急了,自己草拟的邮件,让我把语法修改通顺发出去。我老板中专毕业,非英语专业,他的邮件我都不知道怎么修改   
请前辈们指点一下,左右都是希望客户再付点预付款,怎么写更容易让人接受呢?

Dear XX,

In view of the difficult time of the epidemic around the world, our company is under the huge pressure on the capital flows.

Now all of raw material suppliers request us to make 100% payment before the material delivery, and the garments factories asked CMT 50%  payment before production, and CMT 50% payment before shipment.

Today I received an important instruction from our top management, that we have to revise the payment to all of our customers.

The new payment terms as followed:

-T/T payment for regular customer,  50% deposit, 30% before shipment, balance 20% against B/L copy.
-T/T payment for new customer, 70% deposit, balance 30% before shipment.
-L/C payment,  we won't accept any L/C payment before the end of this year.

We are sorry to inform you this news, what I can do for you is I put you in our regular customer list. It is our hard and fast rule under the hard situation.

This specific hard and fast rule of payment is just for this year. We will back to previous payment until the epidemic over and everything return to normal.

We hope that our customer would help us and together with us to over the hill.
Your trust and effort will return you more in the future, and our company really appreciate your support at a special time like this.

然而并没卵用,顶多只能新订单实行,甚至可能丢失客户

因为客户的一系列迷之操作,让人非常不安。加上我们原来谈的付款条件只有15%预付,老板现在是铁了心要让客户追加预付款了,要不然不给投产。

是的,前期已经谈好了,所以现在等于我们毁约。所以这个事吧,谈呢确实没啥底气,不谈我们风险也确实大。而且现在邮件都已经发出去了,客户也得罪了,进退两难。

别太担心,未必一定就丢客户。
疫情期间对中国供应商毁约的大有人在,有时候我们就是把自己放的太低了,连平等沟通的机会都没有了。

疫情本就是百年难碰到的意外,特殊情况特殊对待,老板这样考量自然是有原因的,我们最近也是给合作客户谈判,原来60%预付,现在100%付款后再发货。
客人了解情况后,也答应的很爽快。沟通这个时候显得尤其重要,让客人看到我们的难处,而且也要让客人感觉到,我们是为了更好的为他提供优质产品和服务。
