加拿大外贸
刚开始做外贸，经常碰到一些词，我们公司是外贸公司，自己没有工厂，然后就经常碰到一些资料里关于 vendor, supplier，factory. 请问vendor 和 supplier 有什么区别，它们跟factory 的关系又是什么呢？评论

在我考四级时有背到VENDOR这个WORLD，VENDOR 应该是指卖主没错，可是具体应该是指街头摆地摊的。而SUPPLIER是指供应商，厂商之类的，是比较大型的卖主。我觉得在我们咬文嚼字的时候客人不一定知道得那么清楚，因为对于我们来说英语不是母语，对于其他国家来讲，也有很多客人英语不是作为他们的母语的。其实有的客人他们的英语并不比我们好。不要因为他们是外国人就觉得他们的英语讲得好啊。他们的英语有时让人看起来很怪，特别是法国人，讲起英语更是觉得怪。很OU口的我看有的客人下订单也把供应商一方写为VENDOR，我开头也是有点懵，但现在不会了。因为我知道了以上所述的原因。

个人感觉，其实感觉这两个词是不一样的，作为VENDOR，他是作为一个商品供应商出现的，也就是说，他可以作为一个中间人，本身不生产任何商品，从工厂买到商品，再卖给外国客户，这种情况在代理中很常见。 而作为一个SUPPLIER,他就更接近于一个商品生产商，也就是最终的工厂，当然，这也不一定，有的外贸公司可以对外宣称自己就是supplier，尽管它本身不生产任何商品，有些客户并不关心这个。

vendor这个词大多用在合同上supplier这个词就不太法律化了,一般用在公司介绍上factory呢就是为了说明我们不是中间商,也不是贸易公司,他们可以直接买单,价格有优势如果你们是自营出口,3个词都可以用

不同意。。VENDOR并不是指小商小贩的意思，那些应该是叫做street vendor，可以这么说，用VENDOR或SUPPLIER定义的对象往往感觉是差不多的，但在实际情况里，他们的使用还是有区别的，正式场合中使用VENDOR的居多，如合同或订单中，而SUPPLIER却只是用平时的一些表述。个人意见。[/B]

也不同意。 VENDOR只是个“卖主”或者“卖方”的意思，并没有对有没有生产能力有限制区别。[/B]

这两者是有区别的，vendor 买主，supplier供应商。。。[em36] [em36] [em35] [em35]知其然，要知其所以然，我去查书。。。。。。。。。。

VENDOR 相当于FACTORY，两者可以通用，SUPPLIER一般指供应商

我们的英文原版物流专业书里常用VENDOR 表示供应商，特别是一些小的零配件供应商。而SUPPLIER就是泛指供应商，不常用的

以前我做采购的时候，习惯对所有的供应商都用vendor这个词。

vendor卖方，supplier供应商，factory工厂。
这个要看具体情况啊。
比如在客人看来，vendor就是他的出口商，而在贸易公司看来vendor就是工厂，这些都要看情况的。
