Thank you for the video footage you have provided to us this week. After reviewing the video we have identified some additional video footage required for our presentation to Wal-Mart. The specific needs are listed below with the specification that it is intended to demonstrate. Can you please get this to us by the 26th?
All of this video should be shot with a high resolution camera, preferably High Definition. A tripod should be used to hold the camera as these are all stationary shots.
Video Shots for Skinless Salmon
Fillet Weighing
Need 15-30 seconds of video showing the weighing of fillets to check for size
• Should be between 85-140 grams
Color Specification Check
Need 15-30 seconds of video showing the salmon flesh being checked for correct color
• 26 or higher on the SalmoFan
• P3 or higher on ASMI chart
Fat Line Check
Need 15-30 seconds of video showing measurement of the fat line
• Should not exceed 2 cm.
Tail Portion Specification
Need 15-30 seconds of video showing measurement of tail sections
• Smallest point of section should be a minimum of 2.5 cm
Portions per Bag
Need 15-30 seconds of video showing IVP portions being separated into baskets after being vacuum packed. Use different color baskets for each type (nape, center cut, tail).
Need 15-30 seconds of video showing IVP portions being pulled as needed from the baskets and placed into Retail bag, bag being weighed, then bag being sealed.
Clearly show that the correct number of center cut portions are being included in each bag.
• A retail bag with 4 portions requires 1 center cut portion
• A retail bag with 5 portions requires 2 center cut portions
