THE PACKAGINGThe work must be printed in four-colours with a matt varnish finish.
We await from you a printed proof which we will be approved before manufacture of the whole of the order. This printed proof will be the reference for the two parties in case of dispute.
The packaging will be designed so as to respect European Directive 94/62/EC of 20 December 1994 on packaging and packaging waste. It must conform to the essential requirements concerning:
-reduction at source (“packaging shall be so manufactured that the packaging volume and weight be limited to the minimum adequate amount to maintain the necessary level of safety, hygiene and acceptance for the packed product and for the consumer” annex II of the directive).
-recovery (“packaging must be manufactured in such a way as to enable the recycling of a certain percentage by weight of the materials used” annex II of the directive).
-the heavy metals content (the sum of the concentration of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium in packaging or packaging components shall not exceed 100 ppm by weight).
The supplier agrees to furnish Nature & Découvertes before delivery with a certificate of conformity for the packaging.
