刚收到一封来自客人审计部的信件，内容如下，不知哪位高手可否帮忙告知这是什么？？做什么用的？？CONFIRMATION OF THE AMOUNT DUE TO US ON 31/12/2006

In connection with the audit of the finanacial statements of our Company, our independent auditors wish to determine whether our records of your indebtedness to us, as at the date stated above, agree with yours. According to our records, your indebetedness to us on that date was:
On notes payable to us € 7525.00
请高手指点一下，客人这是说我们欠他们以上款项还是他们已付我们以上款项？？？

客人是想要你确认你们公司是否欠他们如上款项，既然确定不欠他们的，那就回复没有任何indebtedness to them 好了
