BPW Regina 的助学金申请Posted by BPW Membership Chair， Na LuoThe Business and Professional Women’s Organization of Regina (BPW Regina) is sponsoring an Educational Bursary to encourage and assist women in their continuation of post-secondary education. The value of the education award is $750.00 which will be awarded in two equal amounts in December 2009 and January 2010. If you know a woman who meets the following criteria, please inform her about this award and encourage her to apply! To be eligible for this bursary, an applicant must: Be a mature woman (23 years +) out of school for at least three years prior to continuing post secondary education. Have successfully completed at least one academic year in post-secondary education and is enrolled as a student for an additional year of post-secondary education. (Note: second semester studies must be pursued for eligibility of award.) Be from Regina or the immediate surrounding area. Be attending a Regina post-secondary educational institution (University of Regina, SIAST, FNUC). Be in serious financial need or live under extraordinary financial pressure. Have not received a BPW Education Award in the past . To apply for this Bursary an applicant must:1. Complete application form in its entirety. The application form can be found at(www.reginabpw.org/bursaries.html)2. Provide her previous year’s academic transcripts and verification of continuing enrolment in post-secondary education. (Include this with application.)3. Provide two letters of reference from individuals who will attest to her character and background. (These letters should be delivered in a sealed envelope along with her application.)4. Provide verification of continuing second semester studies by January 7, 2010.5. Be available for a personal interview (if requested). This would be scheduled prior to the third week in November 2009. The recipient of the Bursary must attend the Regina BPQ dinner meeting on December 7th, 2009, to accept the award and to make a short acceptance speech.
