Is IBM in the process of giving a quarter of the company's workforce—more than 100,000 workers—the ax? A report last week said yes. The company says no, and that a round of layoffs currently underway will just affect thousands. But IBMers claim the company is actively getting rid of workers in ways that dodge the label "layoff." Current and former employees say job ratings are being manipulated to facilitate the "separations."
