We believe that developing a winning team of employees is critical to the long term viability of our company.UPS is currently looking for Couriers (Delivery Drivers) to work from its Vancouver International Airport (YVR) Location.These are permanent positions based at: 5960 Ferguson Road, Richmond, BC V7B1M6.Work Shift starts from 8:30AM, Monday to Friday.Hourly rate starts at $13.00 per hour.Schedules are based on operational requirements. Skills Required:All Candidates are required to have the following Abilities, Skills and Knowledge:Excellent Customer Service skills; Excellent Verbal Communications skills;Must possess a valid Driver’s License (Class 5 or Canadian Equivalent);Should have a clean Driving Record (copy of a current Driver’s Abstract required);Must have no Driving Violations in the previous 12 months prior to application;Able to operate a Standard Transmission / Manual Transmission Vehicle;Ability to lift up to 70lbs (32kg) unassisted; Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment; and,Must be Bondable.UPS Drivers are required to complete their daily delivery and pick-up schedules on time. They should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids, while at the same time solve dispatch problems on route. UPS Drivers are also required to complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on their assigned vehicle.All candidates must successfully complete a series of interviews, driving competency assessment and criminal history records background and reference checks in order to qualify.
