Vancouver is quickly turnng into a 3rd world cesspool. What was once a spotless picturesque city is fast becoming a dirty littler filled city that looks like you have stepped into a travel vortex that has dropped you off in various places in Asia depending on where you are in the city. It is getting worse exponentially and in the next decade if the crime rate continues to grow, Vancouver will be near unlivable to any deent law abiding woring class family. It is certainly now a place to raise your children especially if you are of European decent. The average house cost is now just barely under $300 thousand and so real estate is quickly pricing itself out of the range of any normal blue collar family and so that is why Vancouver is seeing a vast influx of Asia's immigration to Canada and yet those who have been Canadian citizens for generations are fleeing into BC's interior where the housing is much more afordable and the small towns and cities are much more hospitable and relatively crime free. The joke that the Fraser River seperates India from China was once a funny joke but today is a really sad reality that makes many long time Canadian citizens shake their heads and wonder how we ended up with Vancouver as such a cesspool
