Liaise with suppliers/manufacturers for equipment and services deliveryScan the market to keep informed of new equipment and most recent technologies.Research and recommend new sources of procurement. INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS: Internal Communications - Project Managers, Store Managers, Engineering staff, Operations, counterparts in our Montreal OfficeExternal communications - vendors, merchandisers, construction people on sites. EFFORT AND WORKING CONDITIONS:Office environment.Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:College study (2 years) in procurement or related to procurement.3 - 5 years of related experience in Equipment BuyingKnowledge of food retail equipment.Knowledge of SAP an asset.Intermediate knowledge of the Windows environment (Outlook, Excel and Word).Bilingual written and spoken an asset.Basic knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
