Canadian Center of Science and Education (CCSE) is an independent organization delivering supports and services to education and research in Canada and the world. CCSE publishes 21 scholarly journals and is expanding its publishing business by creating a new division of Sciedu Press.If you are interested in this exciting career and meet the criteria, please e-mail your cover letter and resume to: [email protected]Editor for Scholarly Journal (Contractor)The editor will be fully responsible for one or more scholarly journals, creating new journals, forming and managing the editorial team, calling for manuscripts, marketing, editing, publishing and providing assistance to authors. This is a long-term contract position. Flexible working hours, GTA based.QualificationsMaster degree or aboveProficient with computer in MS-Office, Photoshop, Acrobat and InternetDemonstrated ability in professional EnglishHighly self-motivated with good communication skills in both verbal and written EnglishAbility to plan and organize own work to achieve targets and successWorking experience in publication of scholarly journal or university is an assetProficiency in another language is an assetTrainee / Internship (Scholarly Journal)The trainees are supervised by an experienced editor/publisher, to learn the operation of scholarly journal in print and electronic versions. No salary or wage for trainees.
