Fax: (416) 366-5550 . www.vtrac.comPosition: Technical Analyst - Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, (JOB # 1965 )This position is responsible for the design, development, implementation and on-going maintenance of systems management tools (OpenView,NetIQ, Groundworks) to support UNIX and AS/400 computing platforms. (AS400 nice to have)This position provides on-call support for critical production problems. The incumbent will carry a pager.Key Accountabilities Development, maintenance and 3rd level support of systems management tools. Good knowledge of Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Linux.Good knowledge of hardware offerings from IBM, Sun, HP.In depth knowledge of Perl, Shell script, SSH, TelnetFamiliar with Tivoli, Groundworks, OpswareFamiliar with OS400Good knowledge of SDLCExcellent communication skills
