请问各位:如果回国一个月左右,可以申请暂停固定电话/INTERNET(SHAW)一个月吗? 可以的话,就可以省点银子了

回复: 关于电话/网络的暂停You can do it with internet at least according to my experience. Shaw allows one account to hold for more than 30 days once a year. Call them and let them know your request on suspension by designating your first day and ask for 3 months. It is easy to call for an internet resume when you get back. The point is asking them when you resume the line in your place what kind of charges will occur. If they say there will be 19.98+tax, tell them that is not what you ask for, you are asking for an account supension no more than 3 months, not 6 months. The resuming charge is different. 3 months free resume, 6months one has to pay the technician fee(It is said a tech will be sent to your place). Designate that your are asking for 3 months suspension service, not 6 months. To my understanding not every Shaw telephone operater knows this, or they may try to hide this. I called for 2 days to get this I remembered.
