同志们， 看看下面的消息， News on the Career HandbookAfter we released the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2006 we informed users of our intention to revise the Career Handbook. The objective was to integrate the NOC changes into the Career Handbook to maintain consistency between the two documents. Upon closer examination we found that the NOC modifications would not significantly affect the quality of the Career Handbook.Our priorities over the next few years are concentrated on a significant revision of the NOC for Census 2011 with both structural and detailed descriptive changes. As this project progresses and revisions are finalized, we intend to integrate these NOC changes into the next edition of the Career Handbook.In addition to the activities described above, in 2009 we will improve the ?Search by: Descriptor Scale Ratings? feature of the current Career Handbook Web site.By delaying the revision of the Career Handbook we will be able to align both documents in a streamlined manner with synchronized release dates. We trust users will welcome this news as it will require no modification of work systems or processes for the next few years.
