Lead Engineer Mechanical Simulation (m/f)
Location: Ittersbach, DE

Task/Responsibility:
- Mechanical simulation global lead for automotive infotainment products development
- Products Static, Dynamic, Linier and non-linier FE simulation, eg. Head impact, shock, vibration, stress/ strain,
- Expert support or CAE simulation from project RFQ till product SOP globally
- Setup CAE simulation process for global mechanical development
- Technical lead and co-work with simulation engineers in China and USA
- Product design concept review and approval
- Qualification test tool simulation and design support
- Technology benchmark and proof of concept development
- Driving technology and innovation
Required Skills:
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Material)
- 4+ years experience in automotive products Static, Dynamic, Linier and non-linier FE simulation
- Experience on Head Impact in Vehicle Interior and simulation highly prefered
- Familiar with head impact regulation: FMVSS 201 and ECE R21,
- Strong skills of simulation tools, eg. ANSYS LS-DYNA, ABAQUS
- Knowledge of PCB and electronic component mechanical strain/stress simulation
- Knowledge of different OEMs mechanical test profile and specification
- Preferred to have knowledge of vehicle display, infotainment and dashboard products mechanical design
- Have 3D CAD tool knowledge: Creo, CATIA
- Work and drive for result independently
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
