The accountant we are looking forwill be:
Professional, yet personable, in communication with internal andexternal clients, vendors.
Organized and able to work independently, and maintainprofessional judgment
Top-level attention to detail and accountability for the workyou produce and maintain.
Able to analyze a situation and investigate issues in order toresolve them accurately.
Team work and ability to work effectively withdifferent personalities
Core Responsibilities:
Performfull-cycle accounting, including A/R, A/P, bank reconciliation, and AR Aging report analysis.
PrepareHST Return (filing)
WSIBFiling, Reconciliation andPayroll Remittance
Processpayroll (internal)
Maintaingeneral ledger
Performmonth-end process and prepare monthly and year-end financial statement andliaison with an external accountant for year-end T2 filing
Qualifications Required:
Accounting Degree orCertification, Accounting or specific Bookkeeping/Accounting Training by anaccredited organization
Over3-5 years of accounting experience (required)
Over2-3 years of QuickBooks experience (required)
Proficiencywith Microsoft OfficeAdvanced ability in Excel
