11. Drinking water must be tested to ensure it meets the drinking water regulations
12. All cargo lifts and forklifts in use must have safety inspection reports carried out on them; and special equipment registration needs to be carried out on all pressure vessels, cargo lifts and forklifts
13. Auditors must not be offered gifts or gratuities during the course of an audit and it violates the customers strict policy
15. The packaging subcontractor must pack to the exact Walmart specifications using correct material and logos
16. Hazardous waste must be disposed of by qualified contractors and records must be kept of this
18. Environmental practices must be carried out in the factory to ensure it complies
19. The factory needs to provide certificates, permit and licences to certify the right to use the land for construction
20. Regular environmental emergency drills need to be carried out
21. Emergency lighting needs to be in place along all evacuation corridors / exits / stairwells
22. Exit signs need to be in place over all exits from the factory and dormitory
25. Fire hydrants on the 3rd floor of the 1st building need to have the glass cover in place and the factory needs to check that these are in place on a regular basis
26. Flammable semi-finished products need to be stored in a safe place and not next to electrical boxes. All power switch boxes should be kept clear of debris / products etc
27. One piece of electric circuit in the itemising workshop was exposed without the protective insulation device – this needs to be replaced
