How are you? I am really sorry to bring you not good feeling on this case and normally this kind of troubles should never become one of your concerns at all. Actually Allways can completely act as other forwarders doing, told factory what we were told by carrier. But after learning the unspoken rules between the carriers and forwarders, I supposed that you would like us to deal with in another way.



Pls kindly be explained a little bit UASC’s working style so that you may understand why Allways will request earlier AMS and earlier gate-in time. UASC is a small allocation carrier which has only 400teu (200 boxes) from SHA ports. In peak season, every carrier will accept much more bookings than their allocations to make sure 100% loading ratio, so UASC does the same way. Then every carrier will have different ways to control the loading ratio, three of UASC‘s customaries  are cutting EIR printing at any time if UASC feels enough, rolling over late AMS submitting and rolling over late gate-in boxes if necessary. However all these actions are off the recorder and they will never tell.



We can not say Allways is one of the biggest booking agents for UASC, but only SHA ports every sailing we will get  no less than 40boxes so far. 99% of our boxes will be got on board whatever in peak or slack season. which means we monitor every of our handling boxes exactly. We know all these unspoken rules which played by carriers very well so we have to print out all EIR documents once we get the SO instead of any factories’ trucking agent. Pls trust our profession, if we leave it to factory’s trucking agent to print as other forwarders’ way, I will say 50% of these shipments will get delayed. If we do not push factory’s trucking company to arrange loading earlier and AMS earlier, then much more cases will encounter accidents. Every peak season is like a tuff competition, later comers will be definitely a loser.



I supposed that you would agree to keep every of your boxes catch target vessels safely will be the first principle, especially in peak season. You will not believe that we paid how much to the terminal to secure the boxes back which rolled over by carriers in this peak season without decent reasons.  Especially many of your shipments are several boxes under one MBL, which will become even easier target to be rolled over by carriers. Comparing with the monitoring fee, we would rather to do everything earlier to avoid the following potential riskes. We fully understand the peak season operation requirements will bring extreme high pressure to the factories. We appreciate that the factory will co-operate with us together to conquer the difficult time. We also would like to provide the trucking services against the same offering to your factory and I promise that we will never charge the pre-pick fee because all of our trucking companies have their own yard to store the empty containers temporarily which will not cause them any additional costs.



Allways is not an unreasonable and crazy forwarder to challenge our customers just for fun, you will find our value specially in some urgent cases. We will also check with your vendors whether they need our help or not in advance if their trucking company has some additional charges happening. Thanks for your understanding of our difficulties and we would try our best to co-operate and support all of your vendors for all future shipments!
