I am manager of one of purchase office for a US-based company, buying kinds of garments, we have an office in Jakarta too. I have 15 years experience in international trade and textile/apparel industry. Since for apparel industry, there have different area bases for different items, e.g. Zengchen for jeans, Shishi for Jackets, Shaoxing for woven shirts, Ningbo for fashion tee etc. etc., would like to communicate with different purchase offices from different areas. We can exchange our views on price trend, new items, share our resources e.g. local relationship, supplier's management. Also, we even can share part of outsourcings, like QC, logistics. There should have many things we can improve if this union is well running, benifit to all members. We can set up a special zone at MSN for easy communication.Any interested parties, pls send me message. For now, we prefer to set up union of apparel purchase office only. Other parties pls ignore and detour.
