And while Apple has certainly had its share of devices that never really caught on, the company more often than not seems to strike gold when unveiling a new device. Here is a look at the iPad, as well as a few of the other innovative products the computer company has unveiled over its 30-plus-year history.

There are about 300 Apple stores across the globe, with the largest being Boston's Apple Store on Boylston Street, which opened in 2008.
