Normally, to be able to work in the US, you need H1B visa (or other types of working visa).Check to see if your future company is willing to sponsor your H1B visa and there is still H1B quota availble...If you get your offer and H1B approved, you can go to US consular, submit your offer letter, H1B approval notice and other legal document to apply your visa.That's it.

大家好！ 超赞 赏 S synbestGuest 0$(VIP ) 2006-11-21#4 the process takes much longer than yur expectation. and also you can't gain as much as being a Canadian in US. I mean you cant finance house, car and your billing credit doesn't account for your life in US. none the less, you have to stay in canada for another three years to grab the citenzionship ( if you are still interested in it)

I dont think it's wise to move over to US right after landing in. If I were you, I would rather staying here to spend the years before the citizenship could be granted and then cross over the Niagara fall to have a better job out there. You cant say they are much different from Canadian and American till then, you know.well plane it before start it.
