Interested in helping first-generation and recent immigrants navigate American educational systems? Our client is are a premier academic and college planning institute looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and highly qualified individuals to take on an important role in the students' lives. Responsibilities: Regularly monitoring, understanding and following-up on the progress of the students' academic performance and participation in extracurricular activities. Making sure that each student completes the tasks that their college admission counselor assigned to them, and providing timely feedback to parents. Translating college counseling meetings (from English into Chinese) for the student’s parents; proactively spotting issues that the student and parents may have and suggest solutions. Following up on the status of each student’s college applications, checking for the student’s progress about completing application forms; pushing students to complete and submit applications within the assigned deadline. Advising student clubs and helping the clubs make progress toward their goals. Working with class management personnel to follow up on each student’s progress with classes taken at the center. Using group chat to communicate with students and parents, providing professional advice and accurate delivery of messages regarding the center’s service and answers to questions from students and parents.
