Job Description:The Website Designer/Coordinator is responsible for updating and maintaining the content of the company’s real estate website, including uploading and editing property photographs, providing key property details and writing summaries for posting. The Website Manager may also be responsible for updating and managing other company websites as needed from time to time, as well as providing various IT services for the company.Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Request or produce creative website materials when necessary.- Add new properties to the listings and update listings thathave changed.- Proactively create web content and resolve web issue’s toimprove SEO and conversion rate.- Assist with client basic inquiries regarding properties andconnect clients to the appropriate real estate agent.- Assist in the marketing-related aspect of the website, suchas utilizing search engine optimization and other marketing tools.- Create, prioritize, test, review & approve QAs.- Monitor web traffic, traffic sources, traffic performance,email performance, and more.- Monitor site technical performance and web server.- May need to work on projects including web layoutenhancements, desktop applications, website enhancements, web-basedapplications, mobile applications and database-backed websites.- Code web pages utilizing CSS and XHTML and programminglanguages including JavaScript, SQL and PHP and combinations of languages forinstance AJAX.- Interact with servers using SSH, FTP and Telnet protocols.- Analyze, review and modify web systems by designing,maintaining, documenting, testing, developing and monitoring. Job Skills and Qualification:- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design and Development, Marketing or a related area.- At least one year of web design work experience and SEO experience preferred.- Written and oral fluency in Mandarin Chinese highly preferred.- Solid experience and knowledge with Drupal, Wordpress, XML and PHP, ASP, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML and XHTML.- Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, Paint Shop Pro, SQL Server and MySQL.- Self-motivated with a high level of creativity, able to manage simultaneous projects and resources without losing focus, detail-oriented, knowledge of current and new technologies.- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, especially with regard to writing online postings, articles and blogging in Chinese.- Familiarity with Chinese social media platforms a plus.
