加拿大华人论坛 加拿大百科有必要继续follow up吗？

最近发过2份求职简历，其中：1）过了closing day之后的第一个工作日就收到了humanresources的回信（E-mail），只是谢谢我的申请；一星期后，我又给对方回了封信，询问进展情况比如什么时候面试等等，第二天又得到了回信，说正在初步审理，审理结果很快就会出来。现在已经快一星期了，请问我有没有必要再follow up一封信？2）第二个简历是这样的，closing day一星期后，招聘信息又repost了，尽管声称previous applicant do not need reapply，但是我还是忍不住想重新再投一份修改后的简历。请问这样做有必要吗？

You need to keep the tension at an appropriate level so that the other party can feel comfortable under the pressure of your interest. 2) Rewriting resume is a good habit. It keeps your resume updated. However, sending a revised resume to the same company within a short period of time is completely different. If you have a justified reason for the revision, it can be regarded as a smart follow-up. On the other hand, if there is no "new stuff", it could be disasterous.You can borrow a guide book from a library or check online for the relevant skills. I am pretty sure that you will find the answers.

Improper follow-ups surely lead to impatience which leads to rejection. This does not mean that you have to wait for the "rabbit" in the shade. In dating, some smart guys left their cell phones at the girl's place in purpose to creat a follow-up opportunity. In the same manner, you can follow up wisely. You can find these skills in the guide books.
