ROLEwith 5+ yrs experience in a software development environment. This Candidate is energetic, dynamic and passionate about Mobile applications?Self-starter, self-managed that can make intelligent trade-offs, know when to escalate issues, and pro-actively identify and control risks?Accountable for developing simple and easy to use UI that's intuitive and aligns with ?Develop and implement primarily WAP and SMS related technologies in Java?Actively participate in the growth and further stability of Mobile applications?Troubleshoot operational issues and help to maintain service availability?Support pre-sales and product management activities?Contribute to largely 3rd party driven customization/implementation efforts?Interface with clients and partners at technical levels?Research new technologies and device capabilitiesSKILLS?Server side Java application development experience. Any J2EE framework (Struts preferred), servlets, JSP, JDBC.?Mobile application development experience. WAP/WML, XHTML-MP, WURFL etc.?Any enterprise database development experience. Sybase preferred.?Knowledge of web technologies preferred. HTML, XML, HTTP, DNS, etc.?Proven strategic thinker. Solid Java programming knowledge and demonstrated success. ?A Team Player. A proven ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.?Energetic. Using a ?an-do?attitude that will positively influence and energize co-workers. ?Strong communication skills. Demonstrated strength in communicating both orally and written.?Solid analytical strengths. A disciplined and knowledge based approach to decision making.?Responsiveness. Demonstrates resilience, passion and commitment to deliver and be accountable for the results. ?Outstanding project management, initiation and follow through skills.?Highly creative, entrepreneurial and innovative.QUALIFICATIONS?5+ years experience in software engineering environment, at least 3+ years with Java. ?Track record of proven success preferably in small developer team environments (Self-motivated).?The Candidate will need to have strong personal drive to get projects completed. ?Exceptional creative problem and Mobile troubleshooting Skills.?Proven ability to work under tight timelines.?Education. B.A/B.Sc in Computer Science/Engineering or similar technical field.
