CAREER OPPORTUNITY Position: QA Analyst (replacement) Reports To: QA Manager, IT DeptLocation: Calgary - Head OfficeClosing Date: September 15, 2006Posting #: CO-042 **************************************************************************************************** RESPONSIBILITIES:・ Perform analysis, preliminary and detailed based on test plans or test specification requirements・ Design, implement and execute test scenarios and test cases in order to validate and verify requirements. ・ Maintain procedures and process flow for testing, bug logging, enhancements announcements and code promotes. ・ Document validation results and report status to appropriate staff on project issues. ・ Provide QA work estimates to the QA Manager for inclusion into detailed project schedules・ Identify and assist in the resolution of testing issues, bugs and risks ・ Perform system setups / configuration / file downloads for implementations / conversions and perform other related tasks. ・ Coordinate functional and end user acceptance testing resources. ・ Execute software tests to validate feature, performance and quality. ・ Work with developers to reproduce and resolve defects. QUALIFICATIONS:・ Merchandising knowledge a must and Tier Two Enterprise System experience desired ・ 3-5 years QA and System troubleshooting experience required・ Post secondary education in Computer Science or related experience・ Microsoft Office experience (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)・ Candidate must be results oriented, able to work independently and learn new processes easily. ・ Travel may be required・ Evening and weekend work required occasionally HOW TO APPLYIf you meet the above qualifications and are interested in applying for this position, please submit a resumé, quoting the above posting number to: Kashif Choudhry email [email protected]
