Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Assists in various financial reporting, bookkeeping /accounting and routine administrative activities in support of the Arnaud'sAuctions and Appraisals Limited.
Applies basic accounting theory to process journal entries,reconcile general ledger accounts and verify accounting transactions foraccuracy.
Communicates with departments and public entities to addressand resolve inquiries / problems.
Assists in office administration.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
University diploma or equivalent with experience of bookkeepingor accounting.
Experience with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Access, 10 key calculator by touch, fax and copy machines.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communicationskills. Ability to work effectively with co-workers, employees, and managementin a pleasant,
Strong organizational skills and proven ability to maintainaccurate, detailed records that will be audited periodically.
Ability to work under pressure in a high volume office,produce accurate work and meet established deadlines.
Mature, dependable, resourceful, and able to workindependently and to maintain strict confidentiality.
Experiences in auction houses a huge plus!
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Oracle software experience.
Associate degree in business administration, accounting,finance or related field.
