Our company APS Metal Industries in Pickering, ON currently has a few openings for the position listed below.
Responsibilities to Include:
• Inspecting completed parts, compare torequirements, and measure/document dimensional results
• Inspection of first off for Parts afterLC to ensure about part is ok before cutting
• Participating in the calibration ofgages and equipment
• Create/maintain FAI/PPAP documentation(FAI’s, Control Plans, etc).
• Assist the purchasing department withVendor quality control
• Participating in the non-conformancedeficiency management process
• Participate in Root-cause analysis,corrective actions, follow up and reporting
• Fostering a culture of quality andcontinuous improvement.
• Participate in Internal audits and allrequirements of ISO 9001
• Report to the Quality Admin any qualityissue
Skills Required
• Ability to interpret customer prints,technical specifications, and quality assurance standards
• Strong understanding of GD&T andmachine shop and weld shop inspection techniques.
• Use a variety of inspection equipmentto inspect parts/gages/fixtures and determine compliance
• Experience with Microsoft OfficePrograms
• Strong written/verbal communicationskills
Experience
• 1 year of experience in ManufacturingQuality Inspection
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma or equivalent,preferably in technical fields
Salary: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
