KeyResponsibilities:

Preparingwork schedules and assigning workers production line tasks.
·
Evaluatingincoming orders and setting up the production line accordingly.
·
Optimizingproduction line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
·
Identifyingand resolving production line problems in a timely manner.
·
Trainingand supervising new production line workers.
·
Collaboratingwith other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time.
·
Maintaininga fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
·
Devisestrategies that would help to reduce production costs without compromising thestandard of end products
·
Workhard-in-hand with the management to plan, budget and control activities of theproduction department
·
Enforcesafety rules on their team members to avoid them getting badly injured in casesof accidents and production hazards
·
Ensurethat all team members wear protective gear during production and monitor allteam mates to ensure adherence to instructions
·
Writereports and plan production goals, schedule and keep track of workersattendance
·
Performregular performance reviews on team members
·
Mediatebetween workers and the management to enhance smooth communication and settledisputes
·
Inspectworks done by team members to ensure that they meet company standards of goodquality
·
Achievetarget quota and any other operation related responsibilities may be added asthe company continues to grow.
·
Provideinput on best practices, policies and procedures with respect to the others.
Requirements:
·
Post-secondaryeducation in related discipline complimented by professional development inwarehouse management and supervisory skills training.
·
Detailedknowledge of employee safety requirements in a warehouse operation.
·
Abilityto work and direct others in an organized and safe environment
·
Strengthin inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills
·
Innovative,adaptable and motivated towards continuous improvement.
·
Excellentreactive problem-solving skills.
·
Musthave the basic knowledge of computers
·
Physicallyfit to lift 40lbs
Experience:
·
Warehouse/Manufacturingexperience: 5 years
·
Coachingand Leadership: 2 years (preferred)
·
ElectronicsManufacturing industry experience will be an asset.
