Job Summary:
The Energy Auditor will inspect buildings/houses to assess current energy use then make recommendations to optimize efficiency and minimize cost.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact well with customers and coworkers.
- Good research and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to explain complicated matters to a variety of individuals.
- Thorough understanding of buildings and building systems (including lighting, building envelope, and mechanical systems) (preferred).
- Ability to correctly conduct in-field energy assessments (preferred).
- Ability to travel to locations to conduct audits. (Car needed)
