Job Description
The bookkeeper will work closely with our Accounting team to create and analyze financial reports
and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage
invoices and government remittances. The successful candidate will execute the necessary
bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry, reconciling of accounts, as well as preparing accounting
reports.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities are, but not limited to the followings:
• Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting transactions, and reconciling
entries.
• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and
trends.
• Complies with federal and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing
adherence to requirements, and advising management on actions.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications & Attributes:
• Fluency in Chinese will be a strong asset
• Post-secondary education in accounting
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Knowledge in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Independent self-starter, with solid organizational, time management & multi-task skills
