An RESP:is a special savings plan (like a savings account)helps you, your family or friends to save early for a child’s education after high schoolis registered by the Government of Canadaallows savings for education after high school to grow tax-free and could also gain government money through the Canada Education Savings Grant and the Canada Learning Bond, if you qualify.好像说孩子到了17岁都可以开户，每年存入2500，zf每年贴20%近账户，最后小孩高中毕业读大学可以取出来，但是若中途退出，zf贴的要退还给zf，自己拿回自己交的。有研究的吗？

The Government of Canada will still add to your savings, no matter how little you put into your child's RESP account. 这里说账户里无所谓存多少钱，zf照样会打钱进去，不知道是啥意思？

If the child has accumulated grant room, then the Canada Education Savings Grant will be paid on the first $5,000 of contributions made per year. For more information on accumulated grant room, please vist the Frequently Asked Questions section of the Canada Education Savings Grant. 这又说zf只有当每年账户存到了2500时才会贴钱，怎么这些前后矛盾啊，不解。。。。

回复: 大家说说这个小孩子读书的RESP计划是否有必要买啊？我们买了，而且问了很多朋友，都买了，只是小孩低于14岁，就没有什么必要买了。好象2004年1月1日后出生的孩子，政府再多给500刀（一次性的）

唱山歌的娃儿最简单就是每年放2500当投资，政府固定给20%回报率，应该很难找到比这个更好的回报了，不过是定向支出给孩子上学用的。点击展开...看上面不是说zf最多贴到5000*20%吗？，也就是zf最多给一个账户贴现金1000加币啊，除此你存多少都没用了。

回复: 大家说说这个小孩子读书的RESP计划是否有必要买啊？什么叫买这个计划？这是一个储蓄，你要问自己----我是否需要为子女的高等教育储蓄一笔钱？如果回答“是”，那么你就定期存一笔钱，政府补贴给你20%，上限500刀/年，直到孩子满18岁止。如果你回答“不”，那么什么事都不发生。 up to you。
