[FONT="]January 12, 2011[/FONT] [FONT="] [/FONT] [FONT="] Today is January 12th, 2011. It’s a BIG day for my family because we went to Vancouver today. There were many false alarms on our way to Vancouver, especially in the airport[/FONT] [FONT="] In the YVR airport, a police officer found some problem in our declare card: We took something more than $1,000 ? a computer into Canada. So he asked us to go to the cashier to pay the tax. But the rule said we should only declare the things we bought for this trip and the computer was bought in 2009! We explained so the officer let us go. It was the first false alarm.[/FONT] [FONT="] After a couple of minutes, a police dog found we took some meat. So the officer by who is standing called another officer and the officer looked at our declare card and found we took those meat without declaring. He said that we should go to a counter with our entire luggage. After we got there with our “entire” (one box left) luggage, the officers there checked those entire pieces of luggage. As they didn’t find any other “illegal” things, they let us go. It was the second false alarm.[/FONT] [FONT="]As I’ve written in the third paragraph, we didn’t go to the counter with our entire luggage. We’ve gotten only 5 pieces of luggage. Why? We did so because we didn’t know where the last box was. We still didn’t find it even after we left the counter. So my mother asked me to go to the “luggage inquired” counter and I did. I walked to an old man there. I described what the box looked like. I pointed at the rest of our boxes and said, “The box is just like those boxes, it’s a paper box.” The old man said, “Oh, go to the thirty-fifth carousel and see. The bag is probably there.” I quoted the old man’s words to my parents and told them I thought that man is probably right. My dad went to the thirty-fifth carousel and found the box. We got our entire luggage and went to the hotel. As for this, it’s the last false alarm.[/FONT] [FONT="] Ah, it’s a little bit late; I must go to have a sleep. So, so much for today’s diary.[/FONT] [FONT="] [/FONT][FONT="][/FONT]
