Patrons eating at the No. 9 Restaurant in Richmond were robbed at gunpoint Monday night, police say. (richmond9.com)Three men wielding handguns entered a busy Richmond, B.C., restaurant Monday and robbed patrons of their personal belongings, RCMP say. The robbery occurred at the No. 9 Restaurant at Lansdowne Mall, in the 5000-Block of No. 3 Road. Police did not specify what time the incident happened on Monday night. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year, according to its website. There were no injuries. The suspects fled in a stolen vehicle prior to police arrival, RCMP Cpl. Sherrdean Turley said in a release Wednesday. The vehicle has since been recovered. "Further investigation had determined that the restaurant itself was targeted and not any specific person inside," Turley said. Anyone with any information regarding the incident is asked to contact Richmond RCMP or to make an anonymous call to Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477. 评论
